Step 1. Rule out the technical causes
Before panicking, check three things: the network status of the asset (scheduled withdrawal pauses on a specific network are routine), the overall platform status, and the withdrawal limits attached to your KYC tier. If withdrawals are suspended for one asset only, it is almost certainly the network rather than you.
Step 2. Security holds
Changing your password, using a new device, updating your 2FA key or adding a payment method triggers an automatic withdrawal hold of 24–48 hours. It clears by itself — trying to "speed it up" through support achieves nothing.
Step 3. If withdrawals are closed across all assets for more than 48 hours
At that point it is no longer technical: the account is under review. From here the procedure in our guide to Binance account freezes applies — record everything, open one ticket, answer the document request in full. If you can still log in and trade, the review is a limited one and the chances of a quick release are better.
Special case: withdrawals to a bank account
"Bank transfer suspended" while crypto withdrawals still work is a payment-corridor problem, not an account problem. The fix is a different exit route: a stablecoin to another platform, or a card. Bear in mind that the receiving bank may itself ask for source of funds.
Frequently asked questions
Why won't Binance let me withdraw my funds?
Three groups of causes: a technical pause on the asset's network, an automatic security hold after changes to the account (24–48 hours), or a compliance review. Check them in that order.
How long does a withdrawal suspension last?
Network pauses last hours; security holds up to 48 hours; a compliance review takes 2–8 weeks.
